Today the Middle East, Asia, and North Africa were experiencing wide-spread Internet downtime. Apparently a ship's anchor may have broke two main cables somewhere in the Mediteranean. The effects have been fairly devastating for businesses, phone networks and tv networks. Places such as Dubai are hit the worst. This could take almost a week to fix but is really shedding light on the regions dependence on the Internet. Read more here: CNN.COM So what would you do? How would your day-to-day be effected?
