Tom is the founder of Empowered Florida LLC and manages the Florida region of the nation’s fastest growing web solutions provider, Empowered Internet Solutions.

 

A five year Veteran of the US Air Force, Tom went on to manage the German operations of Alamo and National Rent a Car. Post 9-11, Tom successfully led operational staff through restructuring proceedings. His honest communication and skillful management resulted in the lowest employee turnover rate in history; this retention of knowledgeable employees facilitated the seamless transition to new systems and procedures. Furthermore, Tom led the transition of the accounting department as well as front and back office corporate computer systems under the United Kingdom which allowed entry into e-commerce billing; a first in the German car rental market. A specialist in networking, Tom negotiated a deal with the largest independent car rental company in Germany which more than doubled the presence of Alamo and National Rent a Car Germany. During his 17 year career in car rental, Tom managed an organization with revenues in excess of $30 Million, with over 250 employees and car rental fleets of over 15,000 cars.
